A portion of our proceeds go towards our two great Charity Partners, the Vineyard Food Pantry and Foundation 65. Please also consider donating to these wonderful charities when registering for the event.

We will be collecting canned goods before the race to benefit the Vineyard Food Pantry (formally known as the Harvest Food Pantry). Please bring non-perishable food items to donate to this worthy cause.

Vineyard Food Pantry distributes bagged groceries to families in need. They opened in January 2005 serving 3-5 families a week. Their ministry has grown and they now serve 200-250 families each week. The Food Pantry serves anyone who needs to make ends meet.

At Foundation 65, we believe that strong schools and teachers can not only transform the lives of our children, but can strengthen our community. Through literacy and arts grants, Foundation 65 is committed to supporting District 65 students, because we know that when our children thrive, our community thrives.

Foundation 65 exists to leverage community support for excellent and innovative programs that our school district would otherwise be unable to fund.   Foundation 65 is uniquely positioned to support the work of educators in ways that other organizations cannot and do not.  Our investments support shifts in educational practice, extend classroom learning into summer, and provide teachers and administrators with the resources to pilot innovative ideas.  Our funded programs meet specific needs that are identified by D65 teachers and administrators, implemented by D65 teachers, and for the most part, take place during the school day.
